Maria Degitz - OT student when Jack was at NE Rehab Hospital

Maria was a student when Jack was at NE Rehab Hospital. I thought her comments about his impact on her was worth publishing. It is a wonderful example how the Lord can use us even in the most dire circumstances.
During her work with Jack, Maria and Jack were able to share their common bond of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. See below for her comments. Jack is clearly a wonderful teacher even in his weakness, by the grace of God.

Hello Carolyn,
I was glad to hear things were going well...it has now been a couple of months since I last emailed you. I continue to hope that Jack makes progress with his walking and transferring. I was wondering if you could give me another update. You and Jack and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I have some exciting things coming up...two more weeks of my last clinical, my graduation, and then off to Europe for a few weeks.
Through everything, I want you to tell Jack that I have not forgotten him and never well. He made a lasting impression that will last my whole life as I had a great learning experience with Jack as a student.I would love to give you my address:6725 Camino del PradoCarlsbad, CA. 92011
Peace & blessings,Maria
